Hobbies direct has a great variety of product but this car is a bit of a disappointment. Its fun to run but eventually, it breaks down... The biggest issue is the dog bone drive shafts that pop out all the time. I have invested in all available driveshafts at hobbies direct without any luck in fixing this issue. Went as far as upgrading the chassis to alloy but that didn't fix the problem, the car just became heavier. Really upset about all these issues better off buying a Tamiya 2wd buggy...

Great buggy, goes fast and can take a beating. That said I would suggest getting extra wheel nuts and a tool to tighten, I lost 2 within the 1st day of use. I am very new to the hobby. Don't forget to carry a few basic tools like a screwdriver, nut tightener and wheel nuts, then you don't have to head home early.

It broke rear differential immediately. First run out didn't even make it 10 meters before back wheels locked up. Build quality very poor.

For the most part I am very happy with the car. However I haven't seen fit to give it a five star rating for two reasons. Firstly I noticed that one of the screws that connects the bottom of the car to part of the shroud that covers the main gear box was missing. This isn't a massive deal as it's not too important, however it would have been nice if it wasn't missing. The 2nd issue I had is that at least one of the bolts on the wheels wasn't tight enough as I has one of the front wheels fly off of the car after having been driving it for about 10 minutes. I will note that I couldn't find the wheel and have had to order another set. This is somewhat annoying! However having said those things the car is very nice over all and I would still recommend it, but make sure the bolts on the wheels are tight enough!

Great looking car out of the box. Is dam quick on 2s, even better on 3s. BUT it really needed upgrades. Thicker shock towers, lower control arms, steering cups and bent front axles, I busted all these within a week.
Double sided tape on the esc came off on first run, not a huge problem. Few rattles here and there but mainly play in the dogbones, couple of rubber o-rings sorted that out. On/off switch likes to switch off on rough terrain which is a pain if your smashing down a track and it’s a fair distance away.
I see these problems as no major fault of the car itself as I like to send it. Great intro car, just keep in mind potentially spending another $1-200 on upgrades to make it that bit more solid.
