Affectionately known as the "Big E," the USS Enterprise (CV-6) was a Yorktown-class aircraft carrier that became the most decorated U.S. warship of World War II. She was present for 18 of the 22 major naval battles of the Pacific War, and though damaged 15 times, she always returned to the fight, becoming a powerful symbol of the U.S. Navy's determination to win.
This classic 1/700 scale kit from Tamiya is a detailed replica of the famous "Big E" as she appeared during the later stages of the war and is part of the classic Waterline Series. The model accurately reproduces the ship's late-war configuration with its greatly increased anti-aircraft armament.
