Tamiya 1/35 Ukraine M1A1 Abrams Tank Scaled Plastic Model Kit
The M1A1 Abrams was introduced as the US Army’s main battle tank in August 1984. It replaced the 105mm rifled gun of the original M1 Abrams with a 120mm smoothbore gun, greatly increasing its firepower. It also had a highly accurate fire control system and a gas turbine engine with an output of 1,500 horsepower. In the ground combat of the Gulf War in February 1991, it demonstrated its overwhelming superiority by destroying the T-72 tanks. The tank underwent various upgrades, and in January 2023, the US government decided to provide about 30 Abrams to support the Ukrainian army against the Russian invasion.
