Here at Hobbies Direct, we aim to have your order delivered as quickly as possible. As hobbyists ourselves, we understand the importance of getting your order to you swiftly.

Same Day Dispatch

Order before 1pm on a business day and we'll dispatch your order that same day. Tip: We have a countdown to each dispatch time at the top of our website. 


Tracking

All our domestic delivery services include tracking so you know exactly where your parcel is and when it's expected to arrive.


Delivery Times

Most of our domestic orders arrive in 1-3 business days. Delivery times can vary with parcel size, selected delivery service, delivery location, and if your order contains dangerous goods or not.


Delivery Cost

To keep our delivery prices as low as possible, we work hard to get volume discounts and of course, we do not mark up on postage to provide you with the lowest possible price we can offer. 



Safe Drop

Australia Post: Once lodged, you'll receive an email with a "Use Safe Drop for this delivery" button, click it to allow Safe Drop for your order and avoid a potential trip to the Post Office.
Toll: Toll assumes all parcels are approved to be left safe at a 'safe' location at your premises. Do not select Toll if you require a signature on delivery. 


Dangerous Goods

We do not charge extra to send Dangerous goods. Although, it may extend the delivery time as dangerous goods can only be transported via road (not air). This mainly affects paints and spare LiPo batteries.



International

We also deliver to New Zealand!

We only send with Australia Post for international customers. Please note, we cannot send dangerous goods including LiPos and paint overseas due to aviation safety regulations.

Unfortunately, we do not deliver outside of Australia and New Zealand at this stage. 


Insurance

Once the courier has your parcel order, it is out of our control. From this point, the purchaser accepts the risk of any loss or damage to the goods while they are in transit.



How do I to track my order?

Australia Post: If you have selected Parcel Post or Express Post services Australia Post will send you emails with tracking updates starting once your parcel is lodged (you can opt out if you wish to not receive any more updates). If you haven't received the email, your parcel may not be lodged yet or your email address is incorrect. If you're unsure, contact us to check.
Toll: If you have selected Toll Priority or Toll iPec we will send you an email saying your order has been sent along with a link to track your order.

Receiving a delivery

To avoid potential damaged or missing item disputes, the buyer needs to check the condition of the goods on arrival before signing for the parcel.

Problems with delivery

In the unlikely event that you receive a product that is incorrect or faulty, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Guarantees

We do not guarantee delivery times with any shipping method. Although, we guarantee same day dispatch on orders paid before 1pm on a business day.

Extra information

Australia Post & Toll do not deliver on public holidays or weekends.
