FOC (Field-Oriented Control) delivers super linearity, high torque, and extreme silence. New sensor technology has changed the feel, performance, and overall tuneability of the new AXE ESC and Motor. This unique style of sensor allows highly accurate control and sensing of the motor while maintaining extreme performance and reliability. The motor and ESC can match the RPM of the motor to your throttle position under all driving conditions, greatly improving hill driving with the ability to drive down hills under complete control. FOC technology also makes the whole system extremely silent — the motor does not create PWM noise when running.

Input connectors are XT60 with black and red 14AWG 200mm wires; the new sensor harness uses a plug-and-screw design with a silicone O-ring for a waterproof connection.
