Bearings
Improve your RC vehicles performace with OEM & updated replacement bearings.
How are bearings measured? Example: 5x10x4mm
5mm internal diameter
10mm outside diameter
4mm wide
Should I buy a bearing with a rubber shield or a metal shield?
Rubber shielded bearings are better protected from water and dust. However, they add more friction.
Typically recommended for bearings exposed to the elements, for example, a wheel bearing.
Metal shielded bearings are not as protected from water and dust. However, they have less friction.
Typically recommended for bearing that requires high RPMs and are already protected, for example, like an internal gearbox bearing.
FAQs for Bearings
By three numbers: inner diameter x outer diameter x width in mm. For example, 5x10x4 means 5mm bore, 10mm outer and 4mm wide. These measurements are listed on every bearing product page and in vehicle-specific kits.
Rubber seals keep dirt out better — good for bashers and off-road cars. Metal shields spin more freely with less drag — better for racing. For most people, rubber sealed is the safer pick.
