Italeri 1/72 Me-410 A-1 “Hornisse” Scaled Plastic Model Kit
Evolving from the Me 210, this twin-engine heavy fighter, nicknamed "Hornet," aimed to replace the Bf 110s in the Luftwaffe. Packing two powerful Daimler-Benz engines, it served multiple roles. Heavily armed with cannons and machine guns, both fixed and remotely controlled, the Me 410 could handle various missions. Initial versions carried bombs internally and on external pylons for tactical support and bombing. Entering service in mid-1943, the Hornisse saw action in Italy, the Balkans, and the Eastern Front.
