Tamiya X paints are acrylic paints that offer a glossy finish. They are water-soluble, easy to use, and suitable for most model plastics. They can be applied by brush or spray, and have a wide range of colours. Furthermore, they can be washed in plain water to prevent curing.
When airbrushing, make sure to use one of the following Tamiya thinners:
- X-20A Acrylic Paint Thinner 10ml
- X-20A Acrylic Paint Thinner 23ml
- X-20A Acrylic Paint Thinner 46ml
- X-20A Acrylic Paint Thinner 250ml
- Lacquer Thinner (Retarder Type) 250ml
