If it says clear or unpainted, yes — you paint the inside with polycarbonate spray paint. Pre-painted shells are ready to go. Painting your own lets you choose any colour scheme. You'll need masking tape and lexan-compatible paint.
Check the width, wheelbase and body mount positions. Most shells list which vehicles they fit. If not, measure your car's body post spacing and compare. The scale (1/10, 1/8 etc) must also match.
Clear shells come uncut — you trim along the marked lines with curved scissors. Pre-painted shells are usually pre-cut and ready to mount. Cutting is straightforward; just follow the moulded lines.
