Chassis Optimised for Monster Fun

The Stampede 4X4 modular chassis integrates the electronics and battery as low as possible while still maintaining a high-riding stance. Stampede’s high centre ground clearance drastically increases off-road versatility for tackling rough terrain, but still feels planted and secure at speed. Stampede 4X4 is 100% monster truck, but it handles like a racing machine!

Modified Muscle

The Titan® 12T 550 motor pumps out incredible power with an integrated cooling fan to keep temperatures down. The XL-5 Electronic Speed Control provides smooth, reliable power delivery with EZ-Set® one-button setup and three different drive profiles.

New LED Lighting

The Stampede 4X4 now includes LED lighting as standard equipment for more fun after dark. Thick impact-resistant bumpers protect the lights against crash damage with fully-waterproof construction for all-weather fun.

3-channel Micro Receiver with Fail-Safe Security

The TQ 2.4GHz micro receiver uses an integrated LINK button for fast and easy binding. A two-colour LED indicates power-on and bind status for fool-proof control and convenience. In the event of signal loss, the receiver will automatically return the throttle to neutral and hold the last commanded steering position. The Fail Safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be set or activated.

Traxxas Power Cell NiMH Battery with iD®

The included iD-equipped 3000mAh, 8.4V, Power Cell NiMH battery delivers all the performance that's been engineered into your Traxxas model. Power Cell batteries deliver free-flowing power and maximum punch with premium quality construction. Optional Traxxas iD chargers (sold separately) auto-detect Traxxas iD Power Cell batteries and automatically set and optimise charge settings for unmatched charging safety and simplicity. For even greater speed and runtime, a full line of optional NiMH and LiPo batteries are available.

Torque-Control™ Slipper Clutch

The patented slipper clutch uses semi-metallic friction material and finned aluminium alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide consistent traction control. The slipper clutch adjusts easily without disassembly or removal, and the unique 3-pad design is proven rugged in Traxxas' most powerful vehicles.

Optimum-Geometry Steering

Stampede's dual-bellcrank steering design pivots smoothly in the harshest conditions, and an integrated cam-type servo saver protects the servo gears from crash impacts without sacrificing steering precision.

3 mm Steel Turnbuckles

Stampede 4X4's tough 3 mm steel turnbuckles have broad flats that make it easy to set toe-in. Both the steel turnbuckles and composite camber links feature captured rod ends that won't pop off during rigorous off-road pounding.

Oil-Filled Ultra Shocks

Oil-filled Ultra Shocks use a silicone bladder to separate oil from air inside the shock for consistent damping action, even during all-day off-road sessions. Dual X-ring seals give super-smooth performance without weeping or leaking, and Ultra Shocks are fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs, and pistons.

Sealed Steel-Gear Differentials

Stampede 4X4's steel-gear differentials are ready to handle brushless power without costly upgrades. Precision silicone gaskets and X-ring seals allow the diffs to be tuned for specific running conditions by varying the viscosity of the fluid inside them. Differential access for tuning is quick and easy. Just remove the front or rear cover and the entire differential slides right out.
