The Mamba X is a 1/10 scale waterproof ESC designed around three core concepts: versatility, reliability, and performance. It supports 2S to 6S input voltage and can power applications from 1/10th to 1/8th scale vehicles, including racing buggies, SCTs, monster trucks, and crawlers. It is housed in a rugged CNC-machined aluminium case potted in waterproof epoxy to protect electronics and dissipate heat. The integrated 8A adjustable BEC (5.25V–8.0V) supports the most extreme 1/10th scale setups and 1/8th scale race buggies.

SMARTSENSE™ uses the motor's sensors for smooth starts and excellent low-speed torque, then seamlessly transitions to Castle's ultra-efficient sensorless mode with electronic timing for peak performance across all driving conditions. AUXILIARY WIRE FUNCTIONALITY allows on-the-fly adjustments to torque control, max throttle, max brake, and drag brake via the transmitter while driving. DATALOGGING (enabled by default) captures motor RPM, battery current and voltage, ESC and motor temperature, throttle input, and more, which can be downloaded and analysed via Castle Link.

Castle Creations warrants this ESC for one (1) year from date of purchase against manufacturing and component defects. Warranty does not cover damages from abuse including incorrect wiring, over-voltage, overloading, improper gearing, improper motor selection, incorrect controller settings, insufficient batteries, or inadequate connectors. Products used in drag and speed run applications are not covered by this warranty.

In 1/8th scale setups, the Mamba X is intended for off-road racing in buggies weighing up to 9 lbs (including batteries and ready-to-run). In these 1/8th scale racing setups, run at 4S LiPo (16.8V) max; recommended to be paired with the Castle 1512-1800Kv (P/N: 060-0062-00) or Castle 1512-2650Kv (P/N: 060-0061-00) motor with appropriate gearing only.
