Thunder & Flame

This assembly kit creates an updated re-release version of the classic R/C off-road buggy Thunder Dragon, which appeared in a Japanese cartoon in the 1980s. Its ABS bathtub frame is tough and allows easy maintenance, while 4-wheel double wishbone suspension uses CVA oil dampers and a front stabilizer for a superior ride. Sealed gearboxes front and rear contain differentials with die-cast 3-bevel types for smooth, superior handling feel, and semi-pneumatic spike tires give great grip. The streamlined body is molded in polycarbonate, with non-canopy sections painted in silver. It is pre-cut for convenience.

Tough Shaft-Driven 4WD

The midship motor, shaft-driven 4WD chassis is based around a lightweight and tough monocoque, with 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension attached to gearboxes: an easy maintenance layout using upper "I" and lower "H" arms. Dual CVA oil dampers at the rear and a single one in the front monoshock setup are joined by a front stabilizer for optimal flex. Gear differential units front and rear are in sealed gearboxes, and an aluminum motor mount further improves reliability.

Front double wishbone suspension utilizes upper "I" arms and lower "H" arms for a ground hugging drive.

A front monoshock setup employs a CVA oil damper and helps limit roll when your buggy is cornering.

Dish design wheels help mud and dirt to slide right off, and are paired with grippy spike tires.

A polycarbonate chassis cover provides protection from dirt, and features a driver figure for realism.
