Following the Fire Dragon, Scorcher, and Thunder Dragon, Tamiya presents the Thunder Shot as a re-released and updated version of the 1987 classic. This R/C model assembly kit inherits basic specifications from Item 58361 but features different CVA oil dampers and an aluminium motor mount for improved motor performance and structural rigidity.
The compact, futuristic polycarbonate body is pre-cut and pre-painted in white and blue with a transparent canopy. The chassis is built around a sturdy ABS bathtub with 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and CVA oil dampers, sealed front and rear gearboxes with die-cast 3-bevel differential gears, and semi-pneumatic spike tyres. A driver figure and separate rear wing are also included.

The Thunder Shot's double wishbone suspension, with its upper "I" and lower "H" arms, delivers precise handling and a smooth, responsive ride. This sophisticated suspension system ensures optimal control and stability on a variety of surfaces.
The Thunder Shot's front suspension is designed for optimal performance and stability. The monoshock setup, featuring a CVA oil shock and stabiliser bar, provides precise damping and minimises body roll, ensuring a confident and controlled driving experience.
The Thunder Shots One-piece dish wheels attract less mud, and are paired with semi-pneumatic spike tyres that provide grip on a wide range of different surfaces, helping you stay in control.
The Thunder Shot's chassis is protected by a durable polycarbonate cover that helps to keep dirt and debris out. The included driver figure adds a touch of realism and enhances the visual appeal.
