The original Grasshopper needs little introduction. It was a Tamiya legend which inspired legions of fans since the 1980s. For many, it was their very first introduction into the world of radio control assembly kits. The original Grasshopper is still among Tamiya’s best-selling kits to this day. Now the legend is re-imagined as the Comical Grasshopper, with a new body inspired by the famous original. The re-imagined body sits on a new and dedicated variant of the proven off-road chassis: the WR-02CB.

Protective Side Guard and Driver Doll

The Comical Grasshopper includes a side guard to protect the motor from damage and comes with a driver doll wearing a helmet for added realism and fun.

Wheelie Bar and Megaphone Muffler

A wheelie bar at the rear of the chassis prevents rollovers during wheelies, while a large-diameter megaphone muffler enhances the driving atmosphere.

Optional LED Light Unit for Customisation

Enhance your Comical Grasshopper with an optional 5mm diameter LED light unit (sold separately) for the light case on the top of the body and rear end. Customise your buggy with this fun and functional upgrade.

Included Stickers for Added Detail
