This is a 1/10 scale R/C assembly kit of a racing truck, the mainstay of US off-road racing. The name 'Asterion' derives from a heavenly dog, who is led by the hunter Bootes in a constellation in the northern sky. The short-bumpered form gives the model a racy feeling, and the metallic stickers add embellishment to the black body. The chrome-plated wheels and off-road tires add to the splendid experience of driving this high-performance truck.
Short-bumpered body and large-diameter tires make for fun driving.
R/C mechanism, battery pack, and drive belt are protected by a dust-proofed frame and dedicated bumper.
The XV-01 chassis offers exciting R/C driving action on both on-road and dirt track surfaces.
Front-motor, belt-driven 4WD layout with the gearboxes, drive belt, battery, and R/C unit areas protected by covers against dirt and debris.
Holes in the bottom of the chassis further help remove any debris which manages to get onboard to ensure unhindered off-road performance.
Detachable wheel well liners help prevent mud and gravel intrusion.
Gear differential units enable customization with different viscosities of differential oils.
