The one thing that Arrma does better than the rest
The one thing that Arrma does better than anybody: Easter Eggs.
Anyone that’s had an Arrma will be familiar with Don’t Just Bash, Blast – it’s under the body shell of every Arrma car, and it’s a pretty sweet tagline. But, it’s hardly the best thing written on their cars. Look at the Vendetta:
It’s not just little scale things like “no step” or “caution”, it’s the tiny little details that really sells this as a high speed prototype race car. The fuel flap sticker has “race fuel only”, there’s a tow point, and there’s even the Driver’s blood type listed near the door sill. This is so…fun. It’s immersive, almost like the car tells a story. They add character, they add lore, and it elevates the vibe of the car to something truly special.
But the Vendetta isn’t alone in having this much fun with details…
The Senton – Has “send it” on the roll cage.
Mojave – has “Why are you reading this? Just send it!” on the fire extinguishers.
Infraction – has the other trucks it has defeated in battle as silhouettes crossed out on the doors.
Felony – has “Nothing to see here, officer” on the diffuser, “e85 only, fuel pump 1 and 2” on the boot lid.
Did I miss any? I must have. Surely the Outcast and Fireteam have some cool hidden things as part of their body shells to really sell the character of the car! If you’ve got an Arrma and you’ve found a cool overlooked detail, let us know!
