Description

The Axial SCX10 III Base Camp 4WD RC Rock Crawler is a 1/10 scale, ready-to-run rig that delivers exceptional performance and scale realism without breaking the bank. This budget-friendly crawler incorporates all the key components that make the SCX10 III platform so successful, including a stiff steel C-channel chassis, optimised suspension geometry, and durable metal links. With its officially licensed Falken Wildpeak M/T tyres and Black Rhino wheels, the Base Camp 4WD is ready to tackle challenging terrain right out of the box.

The SCX10 III Base Camp 4WD features a new LCXU single-speed transmission with a full set of ball bearings and all-metal internal gears for strength and durability. The optimised suspension geometry, combined with aluminium adjustable coil-over shocks, provides precise handling and articulation on any surface. The included Dynamite 35T brushed motor and Spektrum 40A brushed ESC deliver ample power for conquering obstacles, while the waterproof electronics ensure worry-free operation in wet conditions.

Rigid SCX10 III Steel Chassis

All of the SCX10 III range has a chassis that is built on a foundation of strength with sturdy steel C-channel frame rails. This rigid design minimises flex, resulting in more precise suspension movement and improved handling on challenging terrain.

Optimised Suspension Geometry

The front suspension geometry of the Base Camp is optimised to reduce bump steer, while the rear 4-link reduces torque twist.

Falken Wildpeak Tyres & Black Rhino Wheels Enhance Off-Road Performance

The Base Camp is equipped with 120mm tall Falken Wildpeak tyres with R35 compound for exceptional grip on dirt, rocks, and various off-road terrains. These tyres are mounted on stylish Black Rhino one-piece wheels, providing increased ground clearance and a rugged look. This combination enhances the vehicle's off-road capabilities, allowing you to tackle challenging trails with confidence.

LCXU Transmission
