About TDK RC Tyre Sauce & Lubricants
TDK Repair is a safety focused company that's shaking up the RC industry with ground breaking, high performance products that are safe, eco-friendly, and biodegradable. Their safety focus comes from the need seen at local tracks, people using cleaning products, greases, and tire traction compounds that not only stink up the whole track but are harmful. TDK set out to find a solution that provide higher levels of performance and durability without the harmful side effects. TDK Edge and High Grip Traction compounds give racers a competitive edge, while causing zero harm to the environment.
At TDK Repair, products provide a no compromise solution to the problem. TDK aims to provide the cleanest, safest, and most environmentally conscious products on the market. From products to bottles everything is thought-out to provide the cleanest products possible, all made in the USA.
TDK Repair LLC - The industry's first safe and eco-friendly line of RC car care products, including the world's first and only safe tire traction compounds. That philosophy is continued in other TDK Repair products like grease, shock lube, and bearing oil.
FAQs for TDK RC Tyre Sauce & Lubricants
Is TDK RC traction a good product for drivers new to tyre additives?
TDK RC is a sensible starting point for drivers new to tyre additives because the range is positioned as eco-friendly and easier to work with than some of the harsher traction compounds. The Gen 2 Tyre Sauce and Edge Tyre Sauce cover different grip profiles, which lets newer racers experiment without committing to an aggressive compound. We carry ten TDK RC items in our Australian warehouse, so club racers can try the range without importing individual bottles from overseas suppliers.
What makes TDK RC different from other tyre additive brands?
TDK RC (distinct from the electronics company with the same name) focuses on eco-friendly traction and lubricant products designed to deliver grip without the heavy chemical footprint of some older compounds. The range extends beyond tyre sauces into Shock Assembly Lube and Ceramic Bearing Oil, which makes it useful for general maintenance as well as race-day traction. For Australian racers who run at clubs with environmental guidelines, the eco-friendly positioning is a meaningful point of difference.
Do you stock TDK RC traction compounds in Australia?
Yes, we hold around ten TDK RC items in our Australian warehouse, including Gen 2 Tyre Sauce, Edge Tyre Sauce, Shock Assembly Lube and Ceramic Bearing Oil. Local stock is particularly useful with traction compounds because shipping liquids internationally is often slow and expensive. Keeping the range in Australia means club racers can top up mid-season without disruption. If you are planning a specific test session and want to trial multiple TDK RC compounds side by side, it is worth ordering early.
Which TDK RC products are most popular with RC racers?
Gen 2 Tyre Sauce and Edge Tyre Sauce are the headline TDK RC products because they address the single biggest variable in on-road racing — grip. The Shock Assembly Lube sees steady demand from racers rebuilding shocks between race weekends, and the Ceramic Bearing Oil is popular with drivers extending the life of premium bearings. Our ten-item TDK RC range reflects the core products Australian racers reorder, rather than carrying peripheral items that move slowly.
