The Tamiya F104 PRO II Chassis Kit is a high-performance 1/10 scale Formula One chassis designed for serious racers and enthusiasts. This updated version of the legendary F104 platform incorporates the latest design trends and advanced features to deliver an unparalleled racing experience. The polycarbonate body realistically captures the sharp nose, wide and narrowed side pontoons, and complex front and rear wings of modern Formula One cars. Barge boards, vertical wings, and induction pods are included as separate parts, allowing for further customisation and aerodynamic tuning.
The F104 PRO II chassis builds upon the lightweight and simple design of the original F104, with a double-deck frame and 3P suspension. The front suspension features a link type with flat cross-section suspension arms, independent kingpins, and coil springs. The rear is a rigid type with a friction plate and TRF damper that controls the T-bar. An aluminium ball differential allows for easy tyre changes without disassembly, and full ball bearings ensure smooth and efficient operation. The textured hollow rubber tyres with inner sponges provide exceptional grip and realistic appearance. With its combination of advanced design and high-quality components, the Tamiya F104 PRO II Chassis Kit delivers the ultimate in Formula One RC performance.
The front suspension features adjustable camber angle, allowing you to fine-tune the car's handling and achieve optimal performance on the track.
The 1.5mm FRP T-bar, with its U-shaped cut, enhances chassis flexibility in the pitching direction, improving responsiveness and handling on uneven surfaces.
