The TLR® Tuned TYPHON™ 4WD Race Buggy Roller is the highest specification ARRMA® 1/8 scale buggy straight out of the box, primed with tuning options and ready to hit the racetrack.

Loaded with high-end parts for improved strength, handling, and long-term durability, the 1/8 scale ARRMA® TLR® Tuned TYPHON™ 4WD Race Buggy Roller provides bashers with the perfect platform for entering competitive racing and experimenting with their chassis to achieve the best performance.

The TLR® Tuned TYPHON™ 4WD Race Buggy Roller is supplied assembled and ready to accept your choice of powerful 4S or 6S electronics package and head to the racetrack or to your local bash spot.

The TLR® Tuned factory-finished body with bold racing colour scheme immediately set this model apart from its ready-to-run TYPHON™ 6S BLX 4WD Speed Buggy brother.

The TLR® Tuned TYPHON™ 4WD Race Buggy Roller has been upgraded with high-end aluminium parts that increase durability and improve handling. It is built around a stunning 7075 T6 hard anodised aluminium chassis plate that provides a tough, light and durable backbone for this race spec buggy.

The chassis plate has machined in pockets where material has been strategically removed to reduce weight without sacrificing strength.

Other durable TLR® Tuned 7075 T6 hard anodised aluminium parts include the front and rear shock towers and the steering rack. These are all laser-etched with the TLR® Tuned logo.

TLR® Tuned steering rack features multiple mounting positions for the steering links. This allows you to tune the level of Ackermann in the steering system.

The front shock absorbers have received the TLR® Tuned treatment. These feature black anodised bodies with laser etched TLR® Tuned logo. These have been tuned with longer shock shafts than the TYPHON™ 6S BLX 4WD Speed Buggy to increase droop and aid off road handling.

The rear shock absorbers have received the same TLR® Tuned treatment as the front shock absorbers with black anodised shock bodies with laser etched TLR® Tuned logos and longer shock shafts to increase droop. They easily soak-up bumps over dirt, asphalt, and grass for super-smooth damping.

The shock absorbers have been enhanced for superior performance with the introduction of all new machined tapered pistons, machined shock seal guides and silicone x-rings. These TLR® Tuned parts result in an extremely plush suspension action.

The suspension hangers have also received the TLR® Tuned treatment. These aluminium hangers are anodised and laser etched in the TLR® Tuned style. The suspension hangers use adjustment blocks that allow you to tune the geometry of the suspension to maximize the performance of your buggy.

The TLR® Tuned front shock tower and aluminium upper suspension mount use adjustment block inserts that allow the upper suspension arm active caster and roll center geometry to be tuned.

The TLR® Tuned front lower aluminium suspension mounts use adjustment blocks to tune the suspension arm geometry. These allow the front kick-up, width and roll center of the front lower arms to be adjusted.

The TLR® Tuned rear lower suspension arm geometry can also be tuned using adjustment blocks in the aluminium lower suspension mounts. At the rear the anti-squat, width and roll center and toe angle can be adjusted.

A Race Spec tunable rear wing helps to keep the tyres and buggy grounded, contributing to confident control and responsive handling at high speeds. The wing is tunable using 5mm or 10mm Gurney flaps that can be mounted to the rear edge. These alter the downforce that is created by the wing.

The wing is attached to the TLR® Tuned TYPHON™ 4WD Race Buggy Roller with a high wing mount. This puts the wing in the optimum position. The wing mount is adjustable for both height and fore-and-aft position allowing you to further maximize the performance gain from the wing.

The dBoots® Exabyte tyres are made of high-quality, race compound rubber for long-lasting durability and feature a multi-surface tread pattern for excellent traction in all conditions. They include foam inserts and are pre-glued to low-drag, 1/8 buggy nylon wheels. The 17mm hex fitting provides strength during extreme action and allows easy maintenance.

The TLR® Tuned TYPHON™ 4WD Race Buggy Roller has been given the stealth treatment in many areas to enhance the race look of the model. The black anodised sliding motor mount allows quick and easy installation and removal of the motor.

The front hub nuts, 17mm aluminium wheel hexes and steering plates have also received black anodizing.

The TLR® Tuned TYPHON™ 4WD Race Buggy Roller features a proven 6S heavy-duty drivetrain that holds up to extreme bashing, with all-metal diff outdrives and gearbox internals plus durable steel driveshafts throughout.

A black anodised aluminium servo mount increases the structural stiffness between the servo and the chassis, increasing the steering response of the model.

Dirt guards mount to the front of the rear suspension arms. These protect the rear driveshafts from dirt and debris, increasing the durability in this area.

Heavy-duty steel M4 steering turnbuckles are fitted to the front of the TLR® Tuned TYPHON™ 4WD Race Buggy Roller.

The rear upper suspension links of the TLR® Tuned TYPHON™ feature strong M5 steel turnbuckles, enhancing durability in this area.

The TLR® Tuned shock absorbers are mounted to the 7075 T6 aluminium shock towers using heavy-duty steel ARRMA® EXB shock stand-offs.

A large volume radio box has been fitted to provide more capacity for your chosen receiver. Precision manufactured rubber and foam seals are used for maximum dirt and moisture resistance and an integrated aerial wire mount provides a secure fit for your aerial tube.

The gearbox input gears and drive cups key together, ensuring you still have drive in the event of the attachment screw loosening.

The battery mount system features two hook-and-loop straps fitted perpendicular to each other to provide a secure fit for a wide range of battery packs.

Equipped with three proven metal-geared differential units, as standard, ARRMA® understand the importance of durability and control. Easy-access front and rear diff units will allow you to carry-out diff oil tuning or maintenance in minutes.

A full complement of high-quality rubber shielded bearings for enhanced protection against the elements. Keeping dirt, water, and dust out and lubrication in means more time bashing and less time wrenching.
