The Decathlon features a range of scale details including functional LED landing and navigation lights, wheel pants, and wing struts. Assembly and transport are made easy with a one-piece wing that uses hands-free connections and thumbscrews, plus struts that snap into place without tools. This Bind-N-Fly Basic version comes factory-equipped with digital, metal-geared servos for precise and reliable control.

The power system includes a 3S and 4S compatible brushless motor and a 45-amp Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC. The pre-installed AR631 receiver provides real-time telemetry data to compatible transmitters, along with the benefits of exclusive AS3X and optional-use SAFE Select technologies, plus motor reversing for special ground handling.

AS3X technology works subtly to counteract wind and turbulence, making the plane feel smoother. For newer pilots, or when trying new manoeuvres, SAFE Select provides self levelling and limits how far you can bank the aircraft, reducing the risk of crashes.

Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-levelling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch to make it easier to take off, fly, and land!
