They initially started developing and producing high precision parts for commercial and medical industries which require a high level of accuracy. It wasn't until the 1980's where they began to enter the RC industry.
They design and make all their plastic moulded parts in their injection moulding facility in Chino, California USA; this allows RPM to control precisely the quality of every RPM product that leaves the building, which means consistently robust and durable parts for the customer. These parts are made from RPM's proprietary blend of engineering-grade materials, which offer excellent strength and resistance to impacts, making them ideal for off-road vehicles. RPM make some of the best, toughest aftermarket upgrade parts for the likes of Traxxas, Arrma, HPI, Losi - all the biggest brands.
