This R/C model recreates the Mercedes Actros as raced by the Tankpool24 team in the 2019 ETRC (European Truck Racing Championship). This specific recreation depicts the truck that carried the team to 4th place in the team standings, with veteran Hungarian driver Norbert Kiss taking 6th in the overall drivers’ standings.

The realistic body is a 3-piece set made from lightweight and durable polycarbonate, with separately moulded plastic side mirrors, coupler and rear bumper parts. The body is fitted on top of the proven TT-01 Type-E chassis and is equipped with dedicated semi-truck wheels and tyres for the model.

The cab's complex, muscular form is recreated in polycarbonate and made up of three separately moulded components.

This is a close-up of the separately moulded side mirror parts. Mirror surfaces are recreated with separate polycarbonate pieces.

A glance at the rear shows a great deal of realism, with depictions of the turbocharger, frame and other sections.

At the rear of the model, notable features include a polycarbonate coupler depiction, plus a separately moulded plastic bumper.

Front wheels have a stylish plated finish and are paired with 70mm diameter treaded tyres. Paint the hubcap centre for a realistic look!

Deep rim wheel designs are used at the rear, with fine depictions of details such as the minute bolts. A touch of red in the centre will look great!

The bathtub frame of the evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its motor and battery close to the ground for a low centre of gravity and optimum balance. Mounted on the bathtub frame is a fibreglass reinforced nylon upper deck and gear covers improving rigidity and a 3-piece tie rod providing a smoother steering action. The low centre of gravity, balanced design, 4-wheel double wishbone suspension system, and front and rear differential gears all come together to produce an excellent drive. 70mm-diameter radial tyres are paired with dedicated racing truck wheels; the high sidewalls make for forgiving turns.

A close-up on the front double-wishbone suspension, which offers a ground-hugging drive. The big bumper helps protect the chassis and body.

The rear also employs a double-wishbone suspension setup, with friction dampers helping absorb any bumps that the model encounters.

The TT-01 Type-E is based around a solid plastic bathtub, which features a screw-affixed upper deck to enhance reliability.
