The B1 bis was one of the most heavily armoured and powerful tanks in the world at the outbreak of World War II. With a hull-mounted 75mm howitzer and a turret-mounted 47mm gun, it could more than hold its own against individual German Panzers and was greatly feared by the soldiers who faced it during the Battle of France in 1940.
This 1/35 scale kit from Tamiya is a highly detailed replica of the formidable French tank. It features accurately depicted hex bolts on its slide-molded hull, movable periscopes, and a main gun. A standout feature is the newly-designed, cement-free snap-together track links that make assembly a breeze. The kit is completed with a metal tow-chain, a commander figure, and four different marking options.
