Tamiya 1/48 Lockheed F-35 B Lightning II Fighter Plastic Model Kit
Born from the Joint Strike Fighter program, the F-35B boasts a unique combination of capabilities: conventional takeoff and landing, short takeoff and vertical landing, and stealth technology. Following the F-35A's deployment, the F-35B took flight in 2015. The US Marine Corps' VMFA-211 "Wake Island Avengers" wrote history in September 2018 by deploying the first F-35B in combat in Afghanistan. Beyond the US and UK, Italy has already embraced the F-35B, and the Japan Air Self-Defence Force is preparing its own F-35B squadron for launch in 2024.
