The Velineon brushless motor and electronic speed control (ESC) deliver the ultimate in efficiency, speed, and run time. With the Stampede VXL, your battery selection determines your speed and skill level. Velineon accepts a wide range of batteries, including powerful 3-cell LiPo packs. These packs pump out over 11 volts of power for intense, skill level 5 speeds beyond 65 mph! Built-in low-voltage detection in the VXL-3s™ ESC helps you maintain your LiPo packs in top condition.

Traxxas Stability Management®

Traxxas Stability Management TSM® makes it easier to control your vehicle on slippery surfaces such as loose dirt, smooth concrete, and even ice and snow. Punch it off the line, and TSM senses the vehicle's direction and makes steering corrections to provide straight-ahead full throttle acceleration without loss of control. When cornering, TSM makes intuitive corrections to maintain the vehicle's line, then hammer the throttle earlier in the turn for much faster exit speeds. TSM also improves braking performance by keeping the front wheels arrow straight until they come to a complete stop.

Talon™ 2.8" Pre-Glued Tyres with Foam Inserts

The advanced Talon tread pattern provides excellent traction and proven durability! The soft compound rubber hooks up for maximum acceleration and great grip on a wide variety of surfaces: dirt, grass, pavement, and rocks. The black-chrome All-Star™ rims feature a lightweight horizontal bead that holds the tyre to the rim even under extreme rpm. Performance-designed foam inserts are standard, and all tyres come pre-glued from the factory to get you rolling right out of the box.

All-Metal Internal Gears

Stampede VXL's race-ready Magnum 272R transmission is built for massive torque with high-strength steel input, idler, and differential gears and large-diameter bearings. The input gear is keyed and press fit onto the top shaft for greater precision and strength than a pin-mounted gear.

Torque-Control™ Slipper Clutch

The Torque-Control slipper clutch utilises special semi-metallic friction material and finned aluminium alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide consistent yet adjustable traction control. The semi-metallic friction material remains stable across a wide temperature range to provide smooth, linear engagement you can count on. Spur gears can be removed and replaced without altering the slipper adjustment.

5-channel Micro Receiver with Fail-Safe Security

The TSM TQi 2.4GHz micro receiver uses an integrated LINK button for fast and easy binding. A two-colour LED indicates power-on and bind status for fool-proof control and convenience. Traxxas Link Model Memory allows the receiver to recognise up to thirty TQi 2.4Ghz Traxxas Link enabled transmitters. In the event of signal loss, the receiver will automatically return the throttle to neutral and hold the last commanded steering position. The Fail Safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be set or activated. The 5-channel receiver features three telemetry ports to allow real-time data to be transmitted from your vehicle to the TQi transmitter.

Digital High-Torque Waterproof Steering Servo

A monster truck needs a powerful steering servo for responsive performance. A Traxxas digital high-torque, ball bearing steering servo comes standard for precise control, quick response, and unmatched torque—all in a waterproof case.

Oil-Filled Ultra Shocks™

Stampede's oil-filled Ultra Shocks utilise X-ring technology for a perfect seal and super-smooth performance. They are fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs, and pistons. Features include pressure bladders for air/oil separation and spring clips to precisely change the ride height and spring pre-load. They can be renewed in minutes with our inexpensive rebuild kits.

Rubber-Sealed Ball Bearings

Precision 5x11 mm rubber-sealed bearings offer super low-friction performance and maximum protection in dirty environments. They are used in all exposed locations on the truck and provide virtually maintenance free reliability.
