A unique collaboration between renowned designers David Payne and Mirco Pecorari, the Commander mPd 1.4m blends classic sport plane lines with modern influences for a one-of-a-kind flying experience. This updated version is now more capable and fun to fly than ever, featuring more power, better control, and the benefits of Smart technology. Its new brushless power system includes a specially-tuned motor and a 45-amp Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC, delivering an abundance of thrust on a 3S LiPo or more speed and unlimited vertical performance on a 4S battery. Control response is smooth and predictable thanks to six stronger, more precise metal-geared servos. This BNF Basic version also includes an AR631 receiver, providing real-time telemetry along with the unmatched stability of AS3X and optional-use SAFE Select technologies.

The Commander mPd 1.4m is easy to take off, fly, and land, making it the perfect "next step" after a trainer, yet it's also capable of high-energy aerobatics in the hands of experienced pilots. Functional flaps and a light wing loading give the model an incredibly wide flight envelope, handling everything from slow flight to rolling circles and knife-edge manoeuvres with ease. Convenience is built-in, with a two-piece wing featuring an innovative Hands-Free Servo Connection System that automatically plugs in the aileron and flap servos. Assembly is fast and requires no glue, meaning you can be ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery.
