This plane is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works seamlessly to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence, providing a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger aeroplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-levelling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch to make it easier to take off, fly, and land!

The Timber® X 1.2m boasts extreme manoeuvrability, featuring a new wing design with a shortened span plus much larger ailerons and flaps, along with an enlarged elevator and rudder. Double-bevelled hinge lines enable every control surface, including the flaps with two-way travel, to deflect to high angles. This provides outstanding control and thrilling 3D aerobatic capability, allowing pilots to perform complex manoeuvres with confidence. Pockets in the rear fuselage and an optional steel stabiliser joiner offer fine-tuning for even wilder 3D setups.

The factory-installed brushless power system in the Timber® X 1.2m ensures an abundance of thrust. Featuring a 50-amp ESC plus a specially-tuned motor and prop, it delivers exhilarating performance with a 3S LiPo battery, or unlocks even more power and unlimited vertical capability with a 4S battery, all without requiring any modifications or upgrades. This provides versatile performance to suit various flying styles.

The Timber® X 1.2m is built for resilience, featuring composite-reinforced, hollow-core construction with EPO material, making it both lightweight and robust. It comes equipped with high-torque, metal-geared servos for precise control, regardless of your flying style. Furthermore, the shock-absorbing landing gear and oversized tundra-style wheels of the original model allow you to fly aggressively from almost any surface.

The Timber® X 1.2m excels at STOL performance, thanks to its innovative wing design. It features a shorter span yet almost as much wing area as the Timber 1.5m, complemented by drooped wingtips and included optional leading-edge slats for improved slow flight. These features, along with its lightweight design, oversized flaps and high-power brushless motor, make it possible to spring into the air or gently float down to land in as little as two feet or less.

The Timber® X 1.2m comes alive with realistic-looking LED landing, navigation, and strobe lights. These factory-installed lights, powered directly from the flight battery, provide superb visibility and add a touch of authentic realism, making your flights impressive whether day or night.
