The E-flite DHC-6 Twin Otter 1.4m BNF is a carefully crafted scale replica of the iconic STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) capable utility airplane, renowned for its ruggedness and versatility in challenging environments. This larger and upgraded alternative to popular smaller versions offers more authentic scale details, modern conveniences, and advanced technologies, making it an ideal first twin-powered model for intermediate to experienced RC pilots. It's designed to be highly versatile and easy to fly, providing exciting scale looks and amazing flight performance, complemented by the inherent stability of its high-wing design.
This Twin Otter comes as a Bind-N-Fly (BNF) Basic version, meaning the power system, servos, and a Spektrum™ 2.4GHz receiver are pre-installed, allowing for quick setup with your compatible Spektrum DSMX®/DSM2® transmitter. It features enhanced AS3X+ technology that smooths out wind and turbulence, along with optional-use SAFE Select technology for added ease of flight. The factory-installed twin brushless power system, featuring Spektrum out-runner motors and an Avian 25-amp Dual Smart Lite ESC, is compatible with popular 3S and 4S 2200–3200mAh LiPo batteries for excellent power and long flight times. With functional features like LED navigation and landing lights, operational flaps, differential thrust, and motor reversing, the Twin Otter offers a uniquely capable flying experience. Its convenient size allows for transport fully assembled, or with the two-piece wing removed for more compact storage, and it's even ready for optional floats (sold separately) for water landings.

The Twin Otter 1.4m features an exclusive Spektrum Avian Dual Smart Lite ESC, providing real-time telemetry data like motor RPM and battery voltage. This works with both Smart and non-Smart batteries via compatible Spektrum receivers and AirWare™ equipped transmitters, even importing settings during binding.
Experience enhanced ground handling and special aerobatic manoeuvres with differential thrust and optional motor/thrust reversing. These features are incredibly useful for easier taxiing, take-offs, and landings, especially when flying from water using the optional floats (sold separately).
