Overview

The Piper PA-18 Super Cub is a two-seater legend, famous for its 40+ years of bush flying service. Now you can pilot this icon with the FMS 1.3m PA-18, which retains all the stability and gentle flight characteristics of its full-scale sibling. It's designed for convenience, with a two-section fuselage and wings that simplify storage and transport. This is a true bush plane, boasting impressive Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) capabilities thanks to its functional flaps, high-lift airfoil, and rugged CNC-machined metal landing gear with oversized tyres. It tames any terrain with confidence, and assembly is a breeze, requiring only a few screws.

This Ready-To-Fly version comes with everything you need. It’s equipped with a powerful 3536-850KV brushless motor and 40A ESC, providing plenty of thrust for any situation. The pre-installed Reflex V2 flight stabilisation system acts as a virtual co-pilot, smoothing out the air and offering different flight modes to help you build confidence. Floats are available separately, allowing you to easily convert it for take-offs and landings on water. It's a versatile, fun, and relaxing flying experience for pilots of all levels.

This is the ultimate "Learn To Fly" package. Before your first flight, you can master the basics on the included RealFlight Trainer Edition RC Flight Simulator. It comes with its own dedicated SLT6 transmitter, so you can plug it in and practice flying on your computer. This builds crucial muscle memory and confidence. We've also included a LiPo safety bag for secure battery charging and 8x AA batteries to power both the plane's transmitter and the simulator transmitter. It is truly the all-in-one box to start taking to the skies!

Learn to Fly with RealFlight Trainer Edition

Get flying with confidence using the included RealFlight Trainer Edition RC Flight Simulator. This simulator lets you practice on a PC, mastering the basics with Virtual Flight Instructor lessons before you fly your real model. It’s a great way to save time and money by preventing crashes. This edition includes 8 popular trainer aircraft and features industry-leading True-To-Life physics for a realistic feel.

This bundle also includes the Spektrum SLT6 controller. You can use it to control the simulator, and it will also work to fly real-world, ultra-micro (UMX) aircraft that are equipped with SLT FHSS technology. As you progress, you can even unlock more aircraft and fields in the sim.

Powerful Electronics

The PA-18 features a powerful 850kV motor paired with a 40A ESC and is capable of running 11.1V of pure electric
power. Not only does this combo provide a steady and responsive flying experience, it has reverse functionality built in to make ground navigation even easier.

Navigation Lights

Completing the realistic and scale look of the PA-18 is the wing mounted navigation lights. Fly with confidence is darker conditions with red and green safety lights on the tips of the wings and a clear LED to help light up the runway.
