The FMS 1300mm (51.2") PA-18 Super Cub PNP is a response to pilot requests for a smaller, highly portable version of its popular 1700mm sibling, while retaining excellent stability and control. Faithfully replicating the iconic two-seat, single-engine monoplane, this airplane embodies the spirit of bush flying. Its high-lift airfoil, functional flaps, rugged landing gear, and oversized pneumatic rubber tyres give it impressive short take-off and landing (STOL) performance, allowing it to operate from virtually any terrain, including rough fields.
This Super Cub is equipped with a high-output power system featuring a quality-crafted 3536-KV850 motor and a Predator 40A ESC. The ESC even includes a reversing function, enabling you to "reverse" when encountering obstacles on the ground or water, a unique feature for added convenience. Assembly is quick and easy, with screw-together components that allow the entire airplane to be built or disassembled in just minutes. Its two-section fuselage and two-piece wing design greatly facilitate transportation and storage, making it easy to hide in a car boot, ready for spontaneous flights. For those seeking a genuine bush-plane experience, the PA-18 Super Cub can also be equipped with optional floats for water take-offs and landings.
