Following the legacy of the full-scale "world's premier trainer," the E-flite Carbon-Z Cessna 150T 2.1m is an updated and upgraded giant-scale model that is smarter, more capable, and more versatile than ever. The "T" in its name stands for Taildragger, and this version now comes standard with rugged landing gear featuring oversized tundra-style tyres, allowing it to conquer a wide variety of surfaces and even rough terrain. At its core, the 150T is equipped with a powerful brushless motor and a 60-amp Spektrum Avian Smart ESC, providing real-time telemetry data like battery voltage and motor RPM. This BNF Basic version pairs that with a Spektrum AR637TA receiver, giving you the unmatched stability of AS3X technology and the added confidence of optional-use SAFE Select flight envelope protection.
This giant-scale model offers a surprisingly wide flight envelope and incredible user convenience. The versatile power system is compatible with 4S, 5S, and 6S LiPo batteries, allowing you to tailor the performance from slow and smooth scale flight to better-than-scale aerobatics. The large battery bay fits packs from 3200mAh up to 7000mAh for extended flight times of 10-15+ minutes. Functional flaps make for shorter takeoffs and landings, while the factory-installed LED lighting system adds to the realism. Despite its large size, the Carbon-Z Cessna 150T is easy to transport and assemble at the field thanks to its two-piece wing with a hands-free servo connection system and tool-free thumbscrews.
