No glue is required for the Super Timber 1.7m's assembly, ensuring it can be ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge the flight battery. The horizontal stabiliser halves simply snap into place, and the plug-in wing panels featuring hands-free servo connections are secured with innovative wing lock mechanisms, eliminating the need for fasteners or tools during installation or removal.

The Super Timber 1.7m boasts a factory-installed Spektrum™ brushless outrunner motor, offering a wide spectrum of performance from mild to wild. It is 4S to 6S compatible; simply drop in a 4S battery for sport flying and basic aerobatics, or opt for a 6S battery to unleash impressive hovering capabilities and unlimited vertical performance, all without needing any modifications.

The Super Timber 1.7m offers unparalleled control with double-bevelled hinge lines that enable all oversized control surfaces to deflect to high angles for outstanding aerobatic capability. The flaps can even travel both ways, providing optional use as full-span ailerons for more aggressive manoeuvres. Alternatively, on low rates, the controls remain smooth and docile, allowing pilots to perform a range of styles from mild cruising to extreme 3D.

The Super Timber 1.7m excels at STOL operations, thanks to a wing design with a larger span and more area than previous Timber models, complemented by drooped wingtips. The included optional leading-edge slats clip into place without glue or tools and are easily removable. These features, along with its lightweight design, oversized flaps, and high-power brushless system, allow it to launch or land in mere feet.

The Super Timber 1.7m boasts Super Versatile Gear, allowing it to operate from a multitude of surfaces, including thick grass, gravel paths, and dirt trails – even local lakes and ponds (with optional floats). The heavy-duty, articulated, and shock-absorbing landing gear is angled forward to help prevent nose-overs, making it the strongest installed to a Timber model yet. It’s equipped with inflatable rubber tundra-style tyres (pump included) on unique beadlock wheels for superb bump absorption.

 The Super Timber 1.7m is engineered for exceptional longevity. Its Super Durable construction, featuring composite-reinforced, hollow-core EPO material, creates a lightweight yet highly resilient airframe. Factory-installed digital, metal-geared servos provide precise, durable, and reliable control. In the unlikely event of irreparable damage, a full line of replacement/spare parts is readily accessible.

This plane is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works seamlessly to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence, providing a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger aeroplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-levelling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch to make it easier to take off, fly, and land!
