It arrives ready to run, with a 2000mAh Li-ion battery with an XT60 connector, a charger, a 2.4GHz remote, a bottle of smoke fluid and a set of accessory parts in the box. Flick the switch and Taigen's V3 control board turns the engine over, settling into a deep running note that follows every move until shut-down. The big gun is set firmly into the armoured hull, so lining up a shot means swinging the whole tank round onto the target. Squeeze the trigger and the cannon booms, the barrel and hull jolt back together, the high tension flasher fires and smoke rolls from the muzzle. Infrared firing lets you trade hits with any compatible IR tank, while the metal exhausts trail smoke behind you.

Holding it all together is a strong metal hobby chassis carrying twin 380 sized brushed motors and a hard-wearing Black Steel 4-in-1 gearset with bearings. Metal sprocket wheels pull rugged metal hobby tracks around metal idler and shoulder wheels for firm grip on grass and gravel. Each wheel rides on its own individual pivot suspension with metal suspension parts, so the long hull stays settled when the ground turns lumpy. Sharp metal photo etched grills, a metal hook and metal accessory sets on the turret and upper hull dress up the plastic bodywork, and a hobby grade acrylic airbrush finish completes the look. Barrel Recoil and Flash with Smoke

Battle Your Mates with Infrared

Taigen Includes its infrared battle hop-up as standard, so you can take on your mates as soon as the tank is out of the box. Fire at another compatible tank, and your barrel kicks back with recoil. When enough shots land, the tank you hit reacts as if it's damaged and stops for a few seconds, so there's never any argument over who won.
