Overview
Introducing the new Traxxas 1/10 Rustler 4x4 VXL!

Running a Velineon 3500 brushless motor paired with the Velineon VXL-3s brushless ESC, this monster has plenty of power to get all four 2.8" Talon EXT wheels shredding grass, stones and even tarmac with ease.

New Features:

  • Prographix body
  • Larger and more aggressive 2.8" Talon EXT wheels
  • Clipless body
  • Extreme heavy-duty driveshafts
  • Traxxas self-righting ability
  • Low-CG design for improved handling
  • And much much more!

Hobbies Direct recommends using the Traxxas’s Patented Training mode as it limits the power output of the model to 50% which makes practising much easier and safer and is also a great idea when giving your friends a try.

Traxxas Training Mode
Training Mode

Traxxas' patented Training Mode is a fantastic way to learn how to drive an RC car, once set to Training Mode the power output of the car gets reduced to 50%.

Traxxas Stability Management

Traxxas Stability Management (also referred to as TSM) is included in Traxxas' latest receivers. It incorporates an advanced gyro system that detects when the wheels lose traction beyond the control of the user and instantly corrects it to keep you on course.

VXL-3s ESC
VXL-3s ESC

The Velineon VXL-3s speed control is loaded with high-grade technology to deliver maximum power to the motor. When running a LiPo battery, the two-stage low voltage detection prevents the battery from being over-discharged, and advanced circuit design gives smooth power delivery at any speed.

Velineon 3500kv Motor
Velineon 3500kv Motor

This RC car's power is delivered by Traxxas' mighty Velineon 3500kv brushless motor. Ultra-high-temperature Neodymium magnets, high-speed ball bearings, and a precision balanced rotor deliver power and long life with near zero maintenance.

Traxxas ID Connectors

Awesome little car!
BUT, one major mistake, the driveshaft are extremely weak! After 3 day or about 4 batterys all 4 driveshafts and outdrives were stretched and bent and one melted at the ball joint, not well thought out!

Plastic axels break and needs oooling for esc and motor, needs big bore metal shocks and a monster 3s lipo 5400MHa 60c pack. Fast and fun to bash at the BMX track. Ill get alloy links and metal axels and mounts so its a true bashers as its weak as is but spend $350 on upgrades and its crazy fun with the 17t spur installed.

Great little truck with so much power. I would recommend upgrading the stock shocks and adaptor bearing if you have plans for bashing.
