Rustler 4x4 includes a powerful 8.4-volt 3000 mAh Power Cell rechargeable NiMH battery pack to reach its blazing 30+mph top speed. A powerful 4-amp 12V DC fast charger comes in the box for quick charging in the field. An optional 40-watt AC adapter (sold separately) transforms a common wall outlet into a robust power source for the included 4-amp NiMH fast charger.

Rustler 4X4's LED lighting extends your fun long after dark. Four brilliant white lights illuminate the path ahead, while dual red LEDs let you track Rustler's progress from behind. The lights are protected behind rugged bumpers and the entire system is waterproof for worry-free performance.

Rustler 4X4 rides on a new low-CG chassis that has been lengthened 20 mm for extra stability. The low centre of gravity and wide track width helps the Rustler 4X4 stay planted in the turns for thrilling high speed fun.

Rustler 4X4's patented slipper clutch uses special semi-metallic friction material and finned aluminium alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide consistent traction control. The slipper clutch adjusts easily without disassembly or removal, and the unique 3-pad design is proven rugged in Traxxas' most powerful vehicles.

Switch on the power and drive! That's all there is to it with the TQ™ 2.4GHz radio system. There are no frequencies to manage, so the focus is on having fun. Race multiple vehicles side by side without interference. The TQ's advanced programming provides long-range control with smooth, glitch-free performance. The TQ's ergonomic design is comfortable for all day driving, with an internal antenna that is impervious to damage.

Rustler's dual-bellcrank steering design pivots smoothly in the harshest conditions, and an integrated cam-type servo saver protects the servo gears from crash impacts without sacrificing steering precision.

The Titan® 12T 550 motor pumps out incredible power with an integrated cooling fan to keep temperatures down. The XL-5 Electronic Speed Control provides smooth, reliable power delivery with EZ-Set® one-button setup and three different drive profiles.

The Rustler's oil-filled Ultra Shocks utilise X-ring technology for a perfect seal and super-smooth performance. They are fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs, and pistons. Features include pressure bladders for air/oil separation and spring clips to precisely change the ride height and spring preload. They can be renewed in minutes with our inexpensive rebuild kits.

The TQ 2.4GHz micro receiver uses an integrated LINK button for fast and easy binding. A two-colour LED indicates power-on and bind status for fool-proof control and convenience. In the event of signal loss, the receiver will automatically return the throttle to neutral and hold the last commanded steering position. The Fail Safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be set or activated.

Rustler 4X4 uses the same telescoping universal-joint driveshafts as the high-performance Rustler 4X4 VXL. Designed for increased strength and articulation, Traxxas U-joint driveshafts allow for maximum suspension movement resulting in longer travel and tighter turning.
