Reds Racing Competition Nitro Engines

Reds Racing engines are built for serious racers chasing podiums in 1/8 buggy, truggy and on-road competition. Made in Italy with race-bred tolerances, they suit drivers who already understand nitro tuning, glow plug selection and break-in procedures. Beginners are usually better served by a complete RTR before stepping up. If you race at club or national level in Australia and want a proven Italian powerplant with strong factory backing, Reds is one of the most respected names you can bolt into your chassis.

Reds is engineered in Italy with a heavy focus on competition results — World Championship and European podiums sit behind the brand. The crankcases, pistons, sleeves and crankshafts are produced to tight tolerances for consistent power delivery, smooth needle response and long service life when properly tuned. Reds also develops matched clutch systems and tuned exhausts so the whole driveline works as one package, rather than mixing mismatched aftermarket parts. That race-engineered approach is the reason serious 1/8 racers keep coming back.

Yes. We currently stock a focused selection of four Reds Racing items in our Australian warehouse, centred on competition nitro engines and supporting hardware. Because the Reds catalogue is broad and fast-moving, availability of specific pistons, sleeves, conrods or pull-start assemblies can vary. If you need a particular service part or a fresh engine for an upcoming race round, contact us before ordering and we can confirm stock or source it through our Australian distribution channels.

Our current Reds Racing range focuses on competition nitro engines and matched driveline components for 1/8 buggy and truggy racers. Because we carry a tight four-item selection rather than the full international catalogue, the best approach is to check the live Reds category on our site for current SKUs and pricing. Australian racers typically pair these engines with a quality tuned pipe, fresh glow plugs and a reliable starter box — feel free to ask our team for a setup recommendation for your chassis.
