Debuting in 1989, the Mazda Eunos Roadster (sold as the MX-5 in many markets) was a massive hit that single-handedly revived the affordable, lightweight sports car segment. With its sensuous, rounded body lines, classic pop-up headlights, and a perfectly balanced rear-wheel-drive chassis, it was designed from the ground up to provide a pure and fun driving experience.
This 1/24 scale kit from Tamiya accurately captures the smooth, sumptuous curves of the iconic first-generation Roadster. The model is highly versatile, offering the choice to be built with a folded-down soft top or a separate, removable hard top. It features a realistic interior, a detailed underbody with the unique Powerplant Frame, and optional 7-spoke wheels for a customised look.
