The 75mm Pak 40 was the standard German anti-tank gun for the latter half of World War II. Its long barrel and powerful ammunition made it a deadly threat to almost every Allied tank it faced, and it was used extensively across all fronts in both towed and self-propelled forms. It was a vital and respected part of the German arsenal right up to the end of the war.
