Tamiya 1/48 U.S. Howitzer Motor Carriage M8 Scaled Plastic Model Kit
Tamiya 1/48 U.S. Howitzer Motor Carriage M8 Scaled Plastic Model Kit
The M8 was a self-propelled howitzer vehicle used by the United States during World War II. Developed on the same chassis as the M5 Stuart tank, it came equipped with an M116 howitzer in an M7 mount. Around 1,800 M8 units were manufactured from September 1942 to early 1944. The M8 saw action in Italy, Western Europe, and the Pacific, supporting U.S. infantry until the end of the war. This kit features a completely new design based on intensive research of the actual vehicle.
