When airbrushing, use one of the following Tamiya thinners: X-20A Acrylic Paint Thinner (10ml, 23ml, 46ml, or 250ml) or Lacquer Thinner (Retarder Type) 250ml. Thinner part numbers: 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, 87077. Using Tamiya Lacquer Thinner yields faster drying results and a harder finish. For better brush results, use Tamiya Paint Retarder (87114) for a smoother, brushstroke-free finish. X-designated colours have a glossy finish; XF-designated colours are flat finish.
