The horizontal bead helps grab the tyre, reducing the stress placed on the glue joint by tyre expansion. Alias ribbed tyres are mounted and pre-glued on the chrome wheels for no-hassle, out-of-the-box bolt-on traction. Alias ribbed tyres and Twin-Spoke wheels also sold separately.
