Overview

The crews of the mighty CH-47 Chinook helicopters were a vital part of U.S. operations during the Vietnam War. These brave airmen flew demanding and dangerous missions, transporting troops, artillery, and tonnes of supplies into remote areas of the country. The sight and sound of the twin-rotor Chinook became an enduring symbol of the air mobility strategy employed throughout the conflict.

This 1/35 scale set from Trumpeter provides four lifelike figures, perfect for populating a large-scale CH-47 Chinook model or for creating a standalone diorama. The set includes figures representing the pilots and crewmen in authentic Vietnam War-era flight gear. As a special bonus, a detailed section of the Chinook cockpit interior is included, which can be built as a unique display base for the figures.
