HMS Warspite was a battleship of the Royal Navy, built as part of the Queen Elizabeth class. Her main armament comprised 8 x 15-inch calibre main guns and 12 x 152 mm calibre guns. She was laid down on October 31, 1912, and completed in March 1915. During her service, Warspite underwent two major modernisations — one after World War One and one after. Especially during World War Two, HMS Warspite was repeatedly damaged yet survived, becoming a legend among Royal Navy warships of that conflict.
