XRAY have manufactured these aluminium upper clamps, specifically designed for the X4 bulkheads. Machined with precision, these clamps house the aluminium caster inserts, ensuring consistent caster settings and contributing to exceptional handling. For enhanced precision, the upper clamps feature 1 mm milled grooves for the ball-bearing hubs. Additionally, they have been thoughtfully milled to remove excess material, resulting in a lightweight and compact design. The ingenious design incorporates screws installed from the bottom of the caster inserts, effectively securing them within the upper clamps during maintenance. These screws also serve as crucial pivot ball mounts for the upper arms, minimising the number of components and further reducing weight. Both the upper clamps and caster inserts are constructed from premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, finished with a sleek black anodised coating for superior aesthetics and durability.
