By sitting the battery lower you get a lower center of gravity which helps your rig deal with off camber sections and reduces the chance of it rolling over! Battery retention system uses velcro and with the integrated braces keeps all sorts of sizes of 3S batteries in place no matter the thickness.

Great product, shipping was fast and no delays, battery tray is awesome, but the battery hits the 2 seed servo laying normaly but laying the battery on its side works a treat.
