Easiest and fastest RC Car mod ever - a Chrome Paint Pen that is actually shiny chrome!

While you’re waiting for your cup-a-soup to be ready, and in less time than it takes to watch this video, you can likely give your car a pretty sweet visual upgrade – it’s cheap, too.

Here is our freshly-painted Protoform Dodge Dart from the last video, and this is the HyperChrome detailing paint marker from Australian company the Scale Modellers Supply. We’ve all seen other paint pens, but a sharpie this is not. This is the 3mm pen, but they also do a 0.5mm tip version for tiny little details on scale models. I’m using this silver chrome pen, but they also do both sizes in gold, for the badges on your white lexus.

Here's how we do:

Shake it up.

Press down on the nub, and when the shiny goodness comes out, you’re good to go.

I’m gonna just do the lip of these Fazer rims, that's all they need to pop!

Look at that: before and after. That’s significantly upgraded the overall look of the car. A second coat would look even better!

The pen said it’d be fully cured in 24 hours, and the wheels look so good, I might just stare at them the whole time. Cheers, bye.
