Pay with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe, so Hobbies Direct never sees, transmits or stores your full card number.

How card payments are processed

1. You enter your card details into a secure form provided by Stripe.
2. Stripe encrypts and tokenises your card, so only Stripe holds the card number.
3. Your bank may prompt you to confirm the payment with 3D Secure (a one-time code or in-app approval).
4. Once authorised, your order moves to dispatch.

Security

Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of payment-card security. Card data is captured by Stripe directly, so Hobbies Direct receives only a payment token and the last four digits for reference. See our privacy policy for details on how payment-related information is handled.

Fraud and verification checks

To protect customers and our team, we may run an additional verification step on some orders. This usually applies to first orders, large orders, or orders with mismatched billing and delivery details. For full details, see the security checks section of our terms .
