This truck is very fast with a 3S Lipo. For a novice like me a 2S battery would have been plenty of power. It's harder to keep straight on full throttle than I expected. It appears to be designed and built tough and I have run down a battery on a 35 degree Celsius day with no overheating issues. I initially thought I had a problem with reverse but it turns out you have to move the controller throttle into reverse twice for it to move backwards. I guess this is so you can't accidentally reverse while moving forwards and damage the drive train but it is not mentioned in the manual or online. My crawler will go straight from forwards to reverse. I'm very happy and definitely recommend it.
