CowRC MOO-Slick Silicone Lubricant & Protectant 340g (12oz) is a versatile aerosol spray engineered to serve as both a dry friction-reducing lubricant and a protective barrier for radio control vehicles. Running off-road vehicles exposes chassis tubs, suspension arms, and moving linkages to wet mud, fine dust, and grit. When applied prior to driving, MOO-Slick cures into a clean, non-tacky matte silicone barrier that prevents grime from bonding to components, significantly speeding up post-run cleanup sessions.

As a dry lubricant, MOO-Slick eliminates friction and stiction on exposed moving assemblies, such as suspension hinge pins, steering ball cups, pillow balls, and shock shafts, without attracting abrasive grit like wet oils do. The hydrophobic formula also displaces water and resists corrosion on metal hardware, with heat stability rated up to 204°C (400°F). Whether used to prep dry tyres before a muddy race, coat a chassis underside to reduce drag, or smooth out suspension action, this dual-purpose spray is an essential workshop staple.

Note
  • For protectant use, apply a light, even dusting from 200mm to 300mm away and allow 12 to 24 hours for full curing and maximum dirt repellency. Avoid heavy, wet spraying that leads to pooling.

  • Do not spray directly onto clear polycarbonate (Lexan) body shells or sensitive electronics. Spray onto a clean microfibre cloth first and wipe onto surfaces gently.

  • Routine washing with mild chassis wash will preserve the cured silicone barrier, while heavy degreasers or aggressive scrubbing will strip the coating.
